UAA Arts Major Zack Martin Is Leaving His Mark On The University As He Exits Into The Worldwide Art Community.

Cedar Cussins, (UAA’s Fine Arts Building Manager), started the EXIT Art Project in order to create an environment of pride and a lasting connection with UAA and it’s alumni. She says, “The EXIT Art Project is a permanent student art installation that was started in 2010 to inspire students, make use of an underused space, and create a legacy for future generations. Each year, UAA students are invited to submit proposals to create an art piece that will enhance the South exit stairwell of the Fine Arts Building.”
This year’s participating student in the EXIT Art Project is Zack Martin (an Ahtna Athabascan native). With one class left until graduating and plans to travel to Japan, Zack was kind enough to let TDL stop by and see how his project is going. See the video below.
